Spent all your money?

Spent all your money? The good thing about being an illustrator is that you can just create your own money. But the only downside is that I don't think many businesses would accept it. Also just keep it quiet because the pesky government calls this counterfeiting.

Never the less I'll be pressing a head with my new currency. Not sure what I would call it, maybe Toon Bucks or Onno Dollars?

Cheers
Onno

Announcing, Toon Stories!

Today begins a new experiment I'd like to introduce called, Toon Stories.

Toon Stories is basically a daily single image web comic. Each strip will be different from the previous. Each strip may or may not carry a caption. Each image will be based on whatever I am inspired to draw that particular day. It's a fun experiment to come up with an image that, in many cases, will speak for itself, and will have a story attached to it left up to the imagination of the reader to complete.

Today I've started the first post. And as many of you will quickly notice, I've used a familiar image. I hope you enjoy this ride as much as I will enjoy the challenge of creating these images on a daily or weekly bases.

Check out Toon Stories now!

Doll house

This is a little personal project I created using Cinema 4D. An abandoned doll house, time is unforgiving.

i had a, sadly rare, occurrence happen the other night where i spent time in the company of people i knew from my younger years.

a reunion guess.

it was random and we sat around and talked about nothing in true sienfield spirit, and at some point we degenerated into naming bands we liked still.

and then one of our group mentioned a band and the race was on...

it was a fast firing-round robin-hot potato-machine gun-paced game of: list bands you like before someone decides to take umbrage and then take the piss out of you for liking a band that sucks.

this was the result.

for more randomness like this by several contributing artists go to http://www.tdirl.blogspot.com/.

oh, and if you want to get in in the action, drop me a line and ill add you to the community.

Here's something new!

Chibi Monsters: Creature & Blob

Today's Chibi Monster's is a double header... Well, not really a double header, but you get the point. It also marks the final monster's for this week. Chibi Monsters have been great to work on and, I have another theme I'm cooking up possibly for next week or so. Thanks for reading and making Chibi Monster's a hit!

Bloody Skull Head guy

My 4 year old gave me a small painted statue last week that wouldn't have been so frightening had it not been for the way she painted it. She said she wanted to make it scary for me. Above a drawing inspired by the statue.

Here's the actual statue...

Chibi Monsters: Vampire

Last weeks Villain's theme was a ton of fun to do that I thought of continuing with a whole new theme this week based on Chibi Monsters. So for this entire week, I'll be uploading a new chibi monster per day starting with non other then Dracula!

Enjoy.
